My Story

A decade ago I didn't draw or paint, despite wanting to be an artist as a child. Like many of us, confidence in my "talent" was chipped away until I gave up. After having kids I decided I wanted to do something for me. I dabbled in a few classes in drawing and painting which lit a fire. I wanted more. I wanted to know what I would work on if I was free to explore. What mediums and subjects would I find interesting? What would my personal style look like?

After several false starts, in 2014 I made a resolution to be creative on a regular basis and started my blog "My Creative Resolution." It's been over six years and my creative journey is still going strong. Being creative has brought so much joy and fulfillment to my life. It's hard to believe I lived without it for so long. I've learned so much along the way about creativity, inspiration, motivation, exploring, and staying focused. What began as a personal journey has become a desire to inspire others.

I've transformed my journey into a process for others to follow ~ "Creative Exploration: A Six Week Process for Introducing Regular Creativity into your Life." Get your copy today!
